How to play Black Jack using Dice
« on: October 23, 2011, 08:46:29 PM »
As we all know, or most know, Blackjack is a game of points and numbers. As such, it is quite simple to play by rolling dice. I found you can roll a d11, which is what you will need for this game. Here's how it works:

Aces are worth 1 or 11 points (which is the reason for the d11)
Kings, Queens and Jacks (K,Q,J) are all worth 10 points.
All other cards, 2 through 10, are worth their face value of course.

When you roll for your starting hand, always roll 2d11. type: /roll 2d11

This will give you your starting totall. If you roll an 11 and 10, it's an automatic blackjak. a 1 and 10 is 11, you'll need to hit.

To 'hit' simply roll one (1) d11. Add up the points until you're either at 21 or close to it without going over. If you go over, you lose. Blackjack as always played against the house and not the other players, unlike five-card poker.

Enjoy and have fun!
